This is a part-time assignment for 20 hours a week (Tues, Thurs 10 hr days)

Key Responsibilities

As a Dentist with YesCare, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive dental care in a correctional healthcare setting. Your responsibilities include:

+ **Radiographic Exams:** Perform and interpret radiographic exams (X-rays) to assess dental health and diagnose conditions.

+ **Dental Treatment:** Provide emergency and routine dental treatments, including but not limited to oral surgery, restorative dentistry, periodontal therapy, and extractions.

+ **Oral Health Care:** Correct significant oral health issues that may impact the inmate’s overall health and well-being.

+ **Referrals:** Make proper referrals for procedures or treatments that cannot be performed within the facility.

+ **Incident Reporting:** Report any unusual occurrences, accidents, or incidents to the Site or Regional Medical Director for appropriate follow-up.

Key Qualifications

+ **Current State License:** Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of employment.

+ **DEA Registration:** Must maintain a current DEA number for prescribing controlled substances.

+ **Background Screening:** A background check, security clearance, and drug screening are required for this role.
