What You Will Contribute:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our production processes, drive efficiency, and ensure product quality. This onsite role is critical to bridging the gap between engineering and manufacturing, with a strong focus on hands-on problem solving, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
+ Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality
+ Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
+ Support daily production operations by troubleshooting equipment and process issues
+ Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products and changes
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
+ Assist in the selection, installation, and validation of new equipment and technologies
+ Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and layout planning to optimize workflow
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
+ Train production staff on new processes and equipment
+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
+ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
+ Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement tools
+ Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP, MES)
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
+ Must be able to work onsite and engage directly with production team
Working Conditions:
+ Depending on the assigned department, must complete an audiogram test
