Job description
The Position:
Mid-level Software Developer on the Product Development Team, focused on building and enhancing our flagship timing products to advance precise timing solutions. The role involves designing and implementing innovative features, improving product performance, and collaborating with skilled international teammates in France and Spain.
The Day to Day:
• Designing and implementing new features.
• Troubleshooting defects, identifying root cause, and proposing corrections.
• Collaborating with product management to address customer requirements.
• Working with the guidance of senior developers and team leaders.
• Participating in peer code review.
• Working with the latest in Resilient PNT technology.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Proficiency in a few programming and scripting languages (C, python, and bash are ideal).
• Proficiency working in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with revision control systems (ideally git).
• Ability to work with an international team using Agile methods.
• 2-5 years of experience in software development.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Linux system administration, working with embedded systems and network timing protocols (NTP, PTP) are a plus!
