    Description

    Produce Associate – Splits/Repack (Full-Time)

     

    What You'll Do

    Split & Repack:

    + Break down bulk produce cases into smaller lots or partials according to order requirements.

    + Repack produce into appropriate packaging while maintaining product quality and appearance.

    + Label repacked items with accurate product details, lot codes, and expiration or pack dates.

    + Retrieve product from coolers and bring it to the split room for processing.

    Quality Control:

    + Inspect produce for freshness, damage, or spoilage.

    + Remove substandard or spoiled items from inventory.

    + Report quality concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.

    Inventory & Reporting:

    + Assist with inventory rotation using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.

    + Take inventory and run necessary reports to track repacked quantities and discrepancies.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate any irregularities.

    + Follow all food safety, hygiene, and warehouse safety protocols

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods

    + Comfortable working in cold warehouse environments (35–55°F).

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

    + Basic math skills; able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

    + Prior warehouse or produce-handling experience preferred

    + Self-motivated team player with good communication and organizational skills
