OVERVIEW:
Assists in the monitoring and maintaining of subsystems in the enterprise operations environment, including monitoring, maintaining, implementing and recommending improvements to procedures relating to the use of the Base IT subsystems.
SCOPE:
Responsible, under the general direction of the Supervisor, Infrastructure Services Unit, for performing those basic or special tasks which facilitate the highest reliability and performance possible for the enterprise infrastructure, the incumbent is challenged to maintain and improve infrastructure subsystems as required.
The incumbent is a professional who performs routine assignments with direct supervision by the unit head or direction from the Operations team lead. Supports ASC’s infrastructure technology, which provides comprehensive international and domestic systems service and support to all ASC Departments and PMT sites in North America. ASC assets, representing a capital investment exceeding $15 million, are installed and maintained in several Houston, Texas, locations as well as New York, Washington, DC and at PMT sites located across North America. Moreover, the ASC network interfaces and operates effectively with similarly sophisticated voice and data systems equipment in AOC and Saudi Arabia.
The job requires the typical physical demands of an office environment and is normally performed at 1200 Smith St, Houston, Texas that is an air-conditioned, well-lighted office building that meets building, safety occupant health, and facility access codes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
+ Assists in implementing and extending complex infrastructure sub-systems which support, enhance and/or maintain the environment.
+ Documents and assists in implementing infrastructure security methodology reflective of company policy for computer access security.
+ Documents infrastructure systems performance for review by the Senior Network Analyst.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Vmware, Vxrail, Cohesty, AD (Active Directory), Windows Server OS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
+ Three years of LAN implementation and administration experience; Novell Netware, Windows NT, or UNIX experience preferred.
+ Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined. Must be able to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical way.
+ Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, be a quick study, able to learn, retain and teach others new technology as it is introduced in the industry; and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies and standard business etiquette.
