About Finance and Strategy Team
Our Finance team at Walmart comprises trusted leaders who are dedicated to becoming a world-class finance organization, powered by top talent and cutting-edge technology, to support customers and shareholders alike. In this role, you'll support the Consumables business, which includes Baby, Beauty, Personal Care, Pets, Household Essentials, and Wellness. We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical **Senior Manager, Finance** to join our Merchandise Finance and Strategy team. This individual will play a critical role in creating and actioning strategic initiatives across Merchandising. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic planning.
What you'll do...
• **Strategic Leadership:** Serve as a financial thought partner, applying strong analytical and strategic skills to drive complex, cross-functional business outcomes. · **Business Decision Support:** Build and interpret advanced financial models that incorporate key assumptions, risks, and opportunities. Prepare executive-ready presentations and communicate forecasts, insights, and variances clearly to senior leadership. · **Financial Planning & Analysis:** Lead planning and forecasting processes, analyze business performance, and recommend actions to optimize profitability and expense targets. · **Insight & Growth:** Develop actionable insights that solve business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives across functions. · **Risk & Controls:** Strengthen financial control structures to minimize risk, enhance transparency, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. · **Transformation & Innovation:** Drive continuous improvement by leveraging new technologies and modernizing financial processes. · **Collaboration & Communication:** Build strong cross-functional partnerships to accelerate decision-making, align on key priorities, and ensure clarity in financial results and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 4 years' experience, or 6 years' experience in the same areas.
+ 3+ years' experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, or Omni-Channel Merchandising.
+ 1+ years' experience leading cross-functional projects.
+ 1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience.
+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
+ Detail and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
