    **Location:** Green Bay, WI

     

    Opportunity

     

    The Shipping & Receiving Clerk position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Receives incoming shipments against established purchase order, unpacks as directed, examines and routes to appropriate area, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

    + Provide constant inspection of product being received to ensure quality specifications are being met (count, weight, cost, expirations, etc.).

    + Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership. Document and return for credit.

    + Price and label product, as directed.

    + Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

    + Carries or utilizes hand trucks or carts to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Inform final department of any shortages.

    + Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.

    + Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order and preparing outgoing shipments accordingly for safe handling and necessary documentation.

    + May be required to make pick-ups and deliveries to our outlets using a company vehicle.

    + Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

    + Ensure food safety and sanitation requirements are maintained for applicable receiving and storage areas.

    + Support inventory processes through applicable software.

    + Oversee pricing and look for pricing discrepancies.

    + Support outside cleanup – i.e. snow removal, laying salt, and any lawn/garden needs. Will also assist in light maintenance duties as needed.

     

    This is a part time opportunity working primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm.

    Skills/Requirements

    + Minimum of a high school education or equivalent preferred

    + Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    _The hourly range for this position is $11.65 - $17.45. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location._
