What You'll Do
As the AVP, Marketing Operations you’ll lead the operational strategy, execution, and performance within marketing operations. In this leadership role, you’ll drive operational excellence by aligning marketing operations with business objectives while ensuring financial, compliance, and risk standards are met. Works closely with executive leadership to shape organizational priorities and deliver measurable business results.
+ Lead the marketing operations function, ensuring seamless coordination across Marketing, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and other enterprise partners.
+ Streamline ways of working to drive outcomes using customer data, Salesforce, and our Customer Data Platform.
+ Own execution of departmental strategies and large-scale operational programs, including setting priorities, defining KPIs, managing budgets and P&L, and optimizing costs.
+ Partner with executive leadership to support the development and delivery of business and enterprise-wide initiatives.
+ Build and strengthen leadership capability across the operations team, driving workforce planning, succession, and a high-performing culture.
+ Integrate compliance, regulatory, and risk management requirements into daily operations to ensure integrity and protect the organization.
+ Lead innovation in marketing production and omnichannel execution — leveraging AI, analytics, and automation to enhance impact and efficiency.
Who You Are
+ 12+ years of marketing operations experience within financial services, particularly asset management, wealth management, or retirement.
+ Deep expertise in marketing operations and production, including omnichannel execution, data analytics, and AI integration.
+ Experience leading large-scale or global teams is preferred; must have 8+ years of people management
+ Proven ability to manage P&L and deliver measurable financial and operational results.
+ Skilled in operational strategy, process improvement, and large-scale program delivery.
+ Strong understanding of risk management and compliance within a regulated environment.
+ Exceptional collaborator and influencer with executive presence and a track record of shaping enterprise priorities.
+ Experience with marketing technology platforms (CRM, email, print, digital, or automation tools).
+ Occasional overnight travel required.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$153000 - $210000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Our global headquarters in Des Moines, IA. Working a hybrid schedule (three days in office), but open to remote talent as well.
