The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with specialized experience in Aegis systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in facility and system design, network design, acquisition or logistics support, and change control. Key responsibilities include managing internal and external network facility networking, interpreting wiring diagrams/schematics, and overseeing cable plant configuration management and control. Additionally, the Systems Engineer should have hands-on experience with cable fiber distribution systems and be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office. This role demands a meticulous approach to system integration and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

+ Create presentations for upper leadership to convey risk and schedule.

+ Develop new site/lab activation requirements, including scoping, planning, status updates, plan changes, generating installation drawings and documentation, participating in and developing content for design reviews, and tracking software changes until initial operating capability.

+ Collaborate with Procurement Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs) and Element Leads to plan, retrieve, and review technical data, coordinate equipment delivery, and track until receipt.

+ Deliver final versions of technical data artifacts to Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) and Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in both paper copy and digital formats (AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).

+ Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Plan to support SCSC, CSEDS, and ATRC installation design package development and activation progress.

+ Create and maintain as-built detailed installation design packages.

+ Review both new and final as-built design packages.

+ Provide technical guidance and assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

_Required:_

+ Must have a DoD Secret security clearance.

+ The Systems Engineer must have experience supporting installation design package development.

+ The Systems Engineer must have experience developing as-built detailed installation packages and reviewing new and final as-built design packages.

_Desired:_

+ A four-year Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited University is preferred but not required; experience may be substituted.

+ At least 4 years of U.S. Navy experience preferred.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$76,000 - 155,700 USD
