In this position...
As part of the People Analytics & Planning team, the role of Director of Employee Experience & Analytics will be responsible globally for leading the strategy, design, delivery, and analytics of our employee listening programs. The current survey portfolio includes full census surveys of our global salaried and production employees, lifecycle surveys, always-on-pulse surveys, and various periodic and ad-hoc surveys. We are also deploying technologies such as generative AI to better summarize the tens of thousands of employee comments we receive each year. Our leaders at all levels, including the senior leadership team, value the insights from our current surveys. This role will be responsible for regularly producing insights for the CHRO and senior executives. As a member of the People Analytics & Planning team, this role will collaborate with peers leading our analytics platform, our advanced technologies, and our advisors who support partners across the HR function. This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to shape the direction of the employee listening programs and overall people analytics strategy of an iconic company at a critical point in its 120-year history.
What you'll do...
+ Manage a portfolio of employee surveys and other listening tools to collect feedback from employees on a regular basis. This includes creating and distributing surveys, conducting focus groups, and providing channels for anonymous feedback.
+ Develop and share deep intelligence on the employee experience at Ford, delivering insights to senior leaders and building scalable products to enable insights and decisions across the enterprise. Blend data from multiple sources into valuable insights that drive better understanding of the employee experience.
+ Convert deep-dive analytics on survey data into executive-ready packages, applying a variety of analytical and statistical methods including emerging generative AI capabilities to organize survey data to generate meaningful, actionable insights. Role model excellence in data storytelling.
+ Manage survey technology platform including management of relationship with survey platform vendor, role security, and content.
+ Partner with communications and change management partners to ensure surveys achieve target response rates. Update key stakeholders regularly during survey cycles.
+ Implement training content for managers in their use of the survey data and action planning.
+ Stay up to date with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices related to employee survey and analytics methodologies.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. This includes building trust, demonstrating empathy, and actively listening to employees’ concerns and feedback.
You'll have...
Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (Preferred) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Analytics, or any other related discipline
Experience:
+ Minimum 10 years of work experience with a Master’s degree or 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, in in Consumer/Employee Insights, Data and Analytics, Consulting or Strategy
Licenses and Certifications:
+ Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) (Preferred)
+ Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) (Preferred)
Work Requirements:
+ Involves occasional (defined as one-third or less of the time) lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Working conditions occur within low to moderate noise levels related to the use of standard office or classroom equipment.
