    Responsibilities

    3rd Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Monday through Friday

     

    Pay Grade: HR130

     

    Starting Pay: $22.19/hr

    Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania plant for a Production Technician in Printed Circuit Boards. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:

     

    + Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Install wires, leads and a variety of thru-hole components. Solder components and leads.

    + May be required to pick parts from the warehouse.

    + Troubleshoot minor assembly problems.

    + Perform visual inspection, minor repairs and rework.

    + Perform basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.

    + Set up automated assembly machines, making necessary machine adjustments for start-up and operation.

    + Transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area.

    + Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    + Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.

    + Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.

    + Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.

    Ability to:

    + Identify various electronic components.

    + Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.

    + Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.

    + Perform standard software operations including SAP.

    + Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.

    + Use power and hand tools.

    + Concentrate for prolonged periods of time and regularly perform work that requires magnification.

    + Work in a team environment.

    + Wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.

    Education and Experience Required:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Minimum 3 months manufacturing or other related experience

    Experience Preferred:

    + Past soldering experience
