    As a part of modernization of “Bank in a box” platform, Treasury and Trade Solution (TTS) group is looking for a dynamic person to define the architecture of its next generation Core Accounts DDA (Demand and Deposit Management) ecosystem.

     

    **Architecture Lead Analyst** is a key role to define a modern target state architecture for DDA ecosystem and how the new core accounts system will interact with other strategic systems i.e. product processors, Data and finance systems and the phasing strategy. This role will also interface with broader ICG Engineering and Architecture teams and ensure standards and best practices.

     

    The successful candidate is expected to have the right balance of enterprise architecture and modern engineering skills and working knowledge of agile practices. He/she should be able to demonstrate the application of these skills while solving complex technology problems within banking, financial services context. This role will report directly to the Head of Architecture for Core Banking modernization based out of Jersey City, NJ, USA

    Responsibilities:

    + Define the end to end technology architecture of DDA ecosystem, target state and transition states, options for reaching target state and rationale and roadmap

    + Ownership of key technology decisions ranging from build vs buy decisions, benefits, evaluation of target state platforms, technology stack selection to support the new platform, integration strategy with other services systems

    + Foster a culture of engineering excellence by adoption of modern engineering practices, open source technologies, collaboration and efficiency

    + Collaborate with other Services Operations & Technology teams to ensure technology solution aligns to the standards and best practices and ensure dependencies and risks are addressed

    + Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary

    Qualifications:

    + 10+ years of relevant experience with 3-5 years in enterprise architecture function for large scale technology transformation

    + Extensive experience in Core Banking domain

    + Extensive experience in e2e architecture definition of high performant technology platforms using modern engineering practices like microservices, event based architecture, real time streaming etc. in a banking, fintech set up

    + Experience of designing hybrid architecture comprising of on-premise solutions and cloud native systems hosted on public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP

    + Experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices

    + Highly credible technical leader who is confident to dive deep on product, code base and conduct / support proof of concepts as required

    + Experience of both greenfield and brownfield legacy platform modernization

    + Knowledge of banking industry practices and standards like BIAN, Instant Payments, GDPR etc.

    + Experience with modern core banking platforms like Thought Machine, Mambu is desirable but not mandatory

    + Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

    $113,840.00 - $170,760.00
