Accounts Receivable Account Specialist
**Pay:** $28–$30 per hour
**Assignment Length:** 2-Month Temporary Assignment
**Location:** North Canton, OH
POSITION SUMMARY
We protect **businesses, people, and time** and we’re looking for an **Accounts Receivable Account Specialist** who embodies our core values.
This is a **2-month temporary assignment** focused on delivering excellence in customer relations and accounts receivable functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Customer Relations team to **reduce delinquent accounts, coordinate payment resolutions, and ensure timely and accurate daily cash applications** .
You’ll collaborate across all departments to help the team meet critical deadlines and organizational goals while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Apply daily cash transactions timely and accurately
+ Review customer receivables and coordinate payment resolutions
+ Communicate with internal and external customers regarding collection issues
+ Collaborate with the Customer Relations team to complete tasks efficiently
+ Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts to achieve company goals
+ Facilitate invoice dispute resolution discussions with customers and field teams
+ Engage management as needed to accelerate the collection process
+ Follow established workflows to ensure strong communication and collaboration
+ Build and maintain effective, cooperative relationships with customers
+ Provide training and support as requested
+ Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ 1–3 years of experience in **cash application, banking, or accounting** preferred
+ Strong **customer service** and **communication skills**
+ Basic understanding of **accounting principles** and strong math skills
+ Excellent **attention to detail** and organizational skills
+ Strong **problem-solving** and **critical thinking** abilities
+ **Outgoing and assertive** personality — comfortable initiating communication
+ Proficient in **Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)**
+ Experience with **Microsoft Great Plains, Salesforce, Prelude, American Contractor, Sage 300, or QuickBooks** preferred
