    About our Team:

    This team operates at the intersection of engineering excellence and operational resilience. This team focuses on driving high priority initiatives across the Technology Team focused on Infrastructure & Enterprise Services (IES), with a focus on Major Incident Management, Technical Resiliency (TR), and Productivity Metrics.

    About the Role:

    You will act as a trusted advisor and technical strategist, working closely with senior stakeholders across both IES and the broader Technology Team and shaping the future of IES operations. This position provides assistance and input to management, develops and leads large multifunctional system activities, coordinates the activities around resolving internal technical problems, works with leaders across IES Team to ensure that critical systems meet defined technical resiliency standards, and builds relationships with peers in similar roles across the Technology Team. This role also will be a key contributor to defining, capturing, and reporting on productivity metrics with a focus on quantifying the benefits realized with the implementation of improved systems, processes, and procedures

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the coordination and continuous improvement of major incident response across IES.

    + Establish clear ownership and accountability models across teams. Serve as acknowledged “go to” person on areas of expertise

    + Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews to inform systemic improvements.

    + Own and evolve the TR and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) program.

    + Ensure recovery plans are documented, regularly tested, and continuously improved.

    + Partner with engineering teams to embed resilience into design and operations. Work directly with customers, partners, peers and end users.

    + Develop and maintain centralized performance and productivity metrics for IES.

    + Lead ROI analysis for key initiatives, including ServiceNow and automation efforts.

    + Define and track KPIs that reflect engineering effectiveness and operational maturity.

    + Alignment and collaboration with broader technology optimization programs. Champion initiatives to improve cross-team collaboration and reduce operational friction

    Requirements:

    + BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.

    + Extensive years of Systems Engineering experience with proven skills in technical operations, incident management, or infrastructure engineering.

    + Strong understanding of ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and operational frameworks.

    + Familiarity with business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience engineering.

    + Working knowledge of key components of infrastructure including network, storage, physical and virtual servers, various operating systems and technologies including Windows, Linux, Openstack

    + Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct line authority, with the ability and willingness to mentor junior staff

    + Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues.

    + Strong ability to quantify process improvements into tangible business benefits

    + Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments.

    + Strong interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc.
