Provide leadership and effective management of business unit staff to influence employee commitment to the organization, to the team, and to their job by.
+ Management and implementation of the four pillars of the Employee & Executive Protection Program
+ Provide a safe and secure transportation and environment for US Region Sr. Executive to and from residence to CIBC Corporate office.
+ Provide a safe and secure transportation and environment while at other CIBC locations, as well as other off site events or meetings.
+ On demand, provide safe and secure transportation and environment for other US Region executives, Enterprise executives, Board of Director members or guests as directed.
+ Perform security reviews and make recommendations, of locations to be visited by Sr. Executive prior to attending a scheduled event or meeting.
+ Perform other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director of Physical Security in support of the overall program goals and objectives.
+ Setting appropriate context when assigning work to ensure that individuals’ roles support the achievement of the business unit’s priorities and CIBC’s overall goals;
+ Building team and individual capabilities by providing development opportunities such as job shadowing, special projects, and training;
+ Managing employee performance by providing fair and accurate formal and informal feedback, identifying and removing obstacles to performance and by explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities;
+ Creating a positive work environment and being an effective role model by championing CIBC’s mission, vision and values;
+ Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying the policies and controls fairly and consistently so employees understand what to expect.
+ Hiring the right people in the right jobs to align individual capabilities with job requirements and business unit goals.
_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ **_$110,000 - 130,000_** _for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
