Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing Sales Teams that sell to the Consumer market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for providing motivation, encouragement, development & sales tools to meet unit and revenue goals, slippage, churn, customer satisfaction, and overall satisfied billed customer metrics. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the performance management, sales strategy communication, overall results, and opportunity assessment of the team. In addition, the Sales Manager will participate in the hiring and training of new Sales Reps.
Essential Functions:
+ Meet quota and unit targets established for the team(s)
+ Responsible for the Team's overall sales and productivity results
+ Monitor the performance of the team; administer, document, track performance management and administer corrective action when needed.
+ Handle escalations, answer questions, and provide necessary resources to direct reports for issue resolution.
+ Responsible for coaching and development of Sales Reps to maximize individual contributions and ensure the consistent attainment of sales results
+ Provide ongoing training and development.
+ Meet weekly with Sales Reps to communicate sales strategy, update on results, and assess opportunities and areas for improvement
+ Report on and analyze key metrics and develop action plans necessary to meet objectives.
+ Ensure customer requests are fulfilled correctly and timely, resulting in satisfied billed customers, increasing customer loyalty and advocacy.
+ Utilize current technologies to drive sales.
+ Manage the team's adherence to departmental and Company policies and procedures
+ Perform audits when warranted.
Experience:
3 to 5 years in a related field
Previous experience in telecommunications and sales experience preferred.
Education:
Four years of High School or equivalent

Salary Range - $55k-$82,500
