    Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.

     

    This role is located in Jonesville, SC. Relocation assistance will be provided. The role will be remote (in the United States) until late 2026/early 2027.

     

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

    What you’ll do:

    The EHS Manager leads safety, health, environmental, and security efforts, ensuring compliance with Eaton’s MESH standards and regulations. The role promotes a Zero Incident Culture, manages risks and metrics, supports crisis response, and maintains regulatory relationships.

    In this role you will:

    + Develop and implement EHS programs for new manufacturing sites.

    + Lead Eaton’s MESH initiatives to promote a zero-incident culture.

    + Manage regulatory relationships, permits, and reporting.

    + Mentor and train EHS professionals across locations.

    + Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

    + Conduct EHS and security risk assessments.

    + Coordinate safety, health, and environmental training.

    + Ensure environmental compliance and reporting.

    + Support corporate EHS initiatives and share best practices.

    + Apply ergonomic tools and practices.

    + Address machine guarding issues with external support.

    + Manage environmental systems like wastewater, stormwater, and plating operations.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school

    + 3-5 years of leadership experience.

    + 2-3 years of experience with manufacturing technologies and processes

    + Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that live outside a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree from an accredited school

    + Eight (8) years of experience in an EHS Management role

    + Working knowledge of cross-functional EHS disciplines

    + Professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or country equivalent

    Skills:

    + Familiar with occupational EHS laws and regulations

    + Knowledge of workers’ compensation administration

    + Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills

    + Communicates effectively and tactfully with stakeholders

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Detail-oriented, data-driven, and objective

    + Business-focused with ability to manage ambiguity and change

    + Energetic and skilled in process improvement

    + Able to influence and motivate others
