    Description

    Join our dynamic laboratory team as a Histotechnologist 2, where you will play a pivotal role in the preparation and analysis of tissues. Your primary duties will include:

     

    * Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens with H&E and special stains according to established protocols.

    * Maintain quality control and other logs as necessary to uphold high standards of laboratory practice.

    * Interact with faculty, residents, and grossing personnel to address any issues or concerns regarding test orders.

    * Maintain a clean and properly maintained work area to promote a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

     

    Salary Range: $58.49/hour - $75.65/hour

    Qualifications

    * Minimum of 5 years of histology experience.

    * HT or HTL (ASCP) certification.

    * High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).

    * Flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed
