    Forklift Operator/Material Handler

     

    Pay: $21.00 per hour

     

    Hours: “Shift: Day shift (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM), subject to change to 2nd or night shift depending on operational needs.”

    Summary

    The Truck to Truck (Forklift) Technician is responsible for safely moving and positioning containers of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials using a forklift. This position supports the flow of materials between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations while ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment that supports operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Operates a forklift to offload, palletize, reload, and move containers of waste materials.

    + Coordinates material loads between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations.

    + Ensures transportation efficiency and compliance with all storage and environmental permits.

    + Dispatches transportation from hubs and assists in maintaining outbound schedules.

    + Tracks manifest return timelines and maintains all required shipping documentation.

    + Updates and manages data in Hub Database, Outlook, and Hub Management systems.

    + Performs other duties as assigned to support facility safety and operational goals.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + 0–3 years of forklift or material handling experience preferred.

    + Forklift training or certification required.

    + Proficiency in Windows-based applications.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    + Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb on/off forklifts, and safely move heavy drums or bins.

    + Good hand-eye coordination and corrected or uncorrected 20/20 vision (depth perception critical).

    + Must be comfortable working in a loud industrial environment with proper PPE.

    + Less than 10% travel required.
