Job Summary
The Configuration Management Analyst supports engineering and production teams by maintaining accurate control of technical documentation and configuration records in a controlled aerospace environment. Working under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for maintaining processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry regulatory requirements. The analyst ensures the engineering change requests (ECRs) and related documentation are properly processed, implemented, and controlled throughout the product life cycle. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow structured workflows while supporting continuous improvement in configuration management practices.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Process, release, and maintain Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
+ Maintaining configuration management databases, records, and document repositories
+ Reviewing and routing engineering change requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
+ Scan and process drawings into an Engineering Database
+ Assign and record Engineering Part Numbers
+ Maintain Military Specifications
+ Ability to accurately enter part numbers, bills of material (BOM) and export compliance classifications into ERP system
+ Collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure controlled release and traceability of documents and changes
+ Works cross-functionally with Contracts, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, QA, and other functional disciplines.
+ Performs other duties as required and requested by management
+ Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
Basic Qualifications
+ At least one year of experience working in a document control environment
+ Knowledge of Change Management processes and procedures
+ Good communication skills and ability to work with others
+ Basic knowledge of engineering processes
+ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple technical priorities
+ A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
+ Adherence to company ethics, safety standards, and business conduct policies
+ High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or University in related field
+ Aerospace related working experience
+ Familiar with Syteline (ERP), Adept, Inventor and AutoCAD
+ Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
