Boeing Defense, Space & Security** (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Mid-Level** **Quality Engineer Fabrication** to join our team located in **Ridley Park, PA!
This position is in the Boeing Philadelphia Composites Center of Excellence (BDS Fabrication Division). We fabricate complex composite parts, metal bond parts, and rotor blades to support various BDS, BGS, and BCA Programs. We also perform overhaul of rotor blades.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study:
+ Engineering
+ Computer Science
+ Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology)
+ Mathematics
+ Physics
+ Chemistry
+ Data Science
+ IT (Information Technology)
+ Biology
Position Responsibilities:
+ Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
+ Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
+ Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
+ Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
+ Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
+ Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
+ Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
+ Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
+ Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
+ Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
+ 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
+ 3+ years’ experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
+ 3+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing
+ 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 1+ year of experience do you have reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints 3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
+ Experience leading multiple projects
+ Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
Travel:
This position may require up to 10% travel.

Please note that the pay information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: USD $94,350 - $127,650
