Position Purpose:

Oversee the supervisory practices of all fleet maintenance activities at the local facility maintaining work orders and maintenance billing practices. This position has supervisory responsibility for all in-house fleet activities.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Supervisory accountability over billing and maintenance practices within the fleet. Develop and maintain guidance and counsel to complete repairs in a timely manner

+ Insuring proper billing practices against work assignments completed by 3rd party.

+ Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance of all State, Federal and Company standards

+ Ensure facility remains compliant with fleet maintenance policies and corporate purchasing guidelines

+ Develop and maintain a close working relationship with 3rd party to improve planning and productivity

+ Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party maintenance vendors on repairs outsourced for timely return to service operations

+ Responsible for the tire program; tire casing asset management

+ Maintain valid Commercial Class A driver's license and DOT medical certification

+ Develop and maintain close relationship with Routing and the communication to the Sales team

+ Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Fleet Shop or Heavy Equipment Mechnical Environment
