As a **Security Officer - Retail Dispatch Coordinator** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities throughout the property. Your responsibilities include maintaining communication with team members, managing incident reports, and supporting routine patrols to help to deter incidents. Your role will contribute to a welcoming environment for patrons and staff while delivering exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Operate dispatch systems and communication equipment to monitor and coordinate security-related activities within the retail or mall environment.

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Maintain accurate logs and records of incidents, communications, and activities occurring during the shift.

+ Relay information to security personnel and/or emergency services as needed to support security-related operations.

+ Support regular and random patrols by communicating with on-site staff to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.

+ Assist with access control and visitor management through remote monitoring and communication channels.

+ Participate in emergency response activities by coordinating communications and alerting relevant parties as required.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.

+ Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
