    What will you do as a Talent Development Partner?

     

    The Talent Development Partner is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports employee growth, leadership development, and organizational capability. This role will also lead succession planning initiatives to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders and critical talent across the organization.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Learning & Development

     

    + Design, launch and manage a scalable Learning & Development (L&D) program aligned with business goals.

    + Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and e-learning content to support employee and leadership growth including content creation and facilitation.

    + Partner with department leaders to assess training needs and create targeted development plans.

    + Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve based on feedback and performance metrics.

     

    Talent Strategy & Engagement

     

    + Support performance management processes and career pathing, and succession planning initiatives

    + Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development and talent conversations.

    + Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee development best practices.

    + Collaborate with HR team to align learning initiatives with broader talent, retention and engagement strategies.

     

    Systems & Reporting

     

    + Implement and manage L&D systems, tools and learning management platforms.

    + Track and report on training completion, development progress, and succession metrics.

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements.

    + Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to research and analyze various types of data, especially compliance and regulatory standards.

    + Detail-oriented with ability to plan and carry out job tasks independently.

    + Must be able to exercise discretion and solid judgment and handle confidential information.

    + Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt efficiently to change.

    + Effectively interface with all levels of employees and management.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time.

    + Work involves walking, talking and hearing using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminals.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

    Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent combination of education and Human Resources experience.

    + Minimum of three - five years level experience in a Human Resources position with a focus on training and development functions

    + SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred.

    + Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Work in an office environment; sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time.

    + Work involves walking, talking and hearing using hands to handle, feel or operate objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus when using computer terminals.

    PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

    + None.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    + The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing equipment in operation.

    + May be required to travel to territory locations and attend out-of-town trainings and/or seminars

    + Work hours may vary from 6 am to 5:30 pm depending on schedules and the season; Monday through Friday; approx. 40-45 hours per week. Additional hours may be required occasionally.
