Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving specialist to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving associate, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Shipping and Receiving

**Location:** Vernon Hills, IL

Pay Range:$19.00

**Shift:** First shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

+ Loading and unloading trucks manually or with pallet jacks to ensure timely shipment and receipt of goods

+ Preparing orders for shipment by assembling, addressing, stamping, and verifying merchandise

+ Receiving, unpacking, and recording incoming merchandise or materials accurately

+ Putting away stock efficiently and verifying product quantities with invoices

+ Maintaining safety standards by wearing steel toe shoes and working in a fast-paced environment

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations

+ Ability to operate forklift equipment (certification preferred)

+ Computer literacy for record-keeping and order processing

+ Ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely and consistently

+ Energetic and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety
