    Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Sr. Buyer to join their team. As a Sr. Buyer, you will be part of the Purchasing Department supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Sr. Buyer

    **Location:** Austin, TX

     

    Pay Range: $25.00 -$30.00

     

    **Shift:** 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Reviewing and assessing quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality

    + Generating purchase orders and executing orders through supplier websites or email correspondence

    + Tracking order status and following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery

    + Managing project accounting by coding purchase orders by department, G/L account, and projects, and submitting monthly expense reports

    + Collaborating with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and improve procurement efficiency

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial assembly procurement or related fields

    + Experience with supply chain systems such as ERP, PLM, and project planning software

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central (PLM) and Jira for requisition and task tracking

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Experience in engineering or robotics is preferable but not mandatory
