Join a fast-paced and collaborative technology team as a Product Manager – Quality and Release. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through testable, risk-aligned requirements, overseeing UAT processes, and prioritizing defect management. You’ll also lead the Quality Engineering (QE) platform and infrastructure backlog, helping to drive continuous improvement in product quality across the lifecycle.

**Location:** Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid, 4 days on-site required)
**Type:** W2 contract (Not open to C2C)
Key responsibilities include:
+ Translate change requests into clear, testable requirements with acceptance criteria.
+ Align QE activities with development timelines and release scopes.
+ Lead defect impact analysis and help prioritize fixes with a customer-centric lens.
+ Prioritize testing efforts based on business value and critical system flows.
+ Own and manage the QE platform backlog, including tools, environments, data, and reporting.
+ Facilitate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), timelines, and stakeholder feedback.
+ Ensure risk-aligned test coverage and integrate learnings from production issues.
+ Partner with infrastructure and strategic QE teams to support test environment strategy.
+ Champion continuous quality improvement through metrics, RCA, and stakeholder feedback.
+ Collaborate across teams and time zones to drive alignment and visibility on release readiness.
+ Lead requirements gathering and refinement using agile practices and tools.
What’s Needed?
+ Experience supporting QA, testing, or product delivery in a fast-paced development environment.
+ Strong skills in prioritization, stakeholder communication, and quality control.
+ Background working with service-oriented teams or infrastructure/platform product management.
+ Experience managing inputs from multiple stakeholders across functional areas.
+ Familiarity with UAT management, defect triage, and release coordination.
+ Experience in the retail industry preferred.
+ Ability to work across distributed teams, including offshore team members.
+ Local to the Cincinnati area and able to work onsite 4 days per week.
