Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Firmware Engineer 4 to join their team. As a **Firmware Engineer,** you will be part of the software development team supporting in-market devices, primarily Surface devices and accessories. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Firmware Engineer

Pay Range: $65.04 - $70.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTOs)

What's the Job?

+ Design, develop, and implement firmware solutions for surface devices and accessories

+ Investigate bugs and troubleshoot firmware issues in existing systems

+ Gather and analyze system requirements, documenting specifications for firmware projects

+ Create detailed test plans and perform unit testing to ensure software quality

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve firmware performance and reliability

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field

+ 8-10 years of experience in firmware or software development

+ Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

+ Experience with large systems software design and troubleshooting legacy and new systems

+ Ability to communicate prior experience effectively and work well in team environments
