Our client, a dynamic manufacturing organization, is seeking a Brake Press Operator--Experienced/First Shift to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the assembly department supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to cross-train and learn multiple jobs, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Brake Press Operator--Experienced/Third Shift

**Location:** Scott City, MO

**Pay Range:** $16 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Set up and operate brake press machines to bend sheet metal according to blueprints and work orders.

+ Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using measurement tools such as calipers and protractors.

+ Adjust machine settings, tooling, and dies as needed to ensure precision.

+ Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job instructions.

+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).

+ Previous brake press or machine operation experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring devices.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

+ Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

+ Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
