About the Team:
The Content Design team at Sage Intacct supports our subledger applications, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Purchasing, and Inventory Control. We work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and Curriculum Designers to deliver clear, intuitive content that enhances the user’s experience. In this role, you’ll focus on Cash Management—documenting features that help customers manage company funds, perform bank reconciliations, and streamline transaction feeds.

As a Senior Content Designer at Sage, your mission is to elevate and simplify our customers’ work by surfacing the right content at the right time. Your words will become the roadmap for our customers—from CFOs to accounting staff—enabling them to navigate and fully leverage our Sage Intacct products. You won’t just be explaining our product; you’ll be an essential guide, making complex workflows intuitive and approachable.

• Develop and maintain content standards across Sage’s digital products
• Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive user experiences
• Apply inclusive, accessible language and design principles
• Lead content strategy initiatives aligned with business goals
• Mentor junior content designers and contribute to design system evolution
• This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Atlanta office.
Minimum Requirements:
• At least 6 years of experience in technical writing or crafting customer-facing material for complex software products, including online content and UI text.
• Demonstrated experience writing clear, detailed instructions and examples through hands-on product usage and collaboration with product teams.
• Proven track record of writing and editing content adeptly within tight timeframes, ready to adapt to the pace of quarterly releases.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork skills, favoring collective insight over working in isolation.
• Technical competence and comfort with creating, modifying, storing, and publishing content using a variety of methods and tools (such as Madcap Flare, Github, Miro, Figma, JIRA, Pendo, Slack, Acrolinx, or similar online authoring tools.
• Experience architecting content with a strategic lens, including topic-based structures, re-use strategies, localization, accessibility, and meticulous audience and task analyses.
• Prepared to share a portfolio of prior technical and UX writing.
• Some accounting knowledge, preferably in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other subledger areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• Experience with MadCap Flare, Jira, and Github.
• Background in finance or accounting software.
