    Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer (Senior) to join their team. As a Project Mechanical Engineer (Senior), you will be part of the engineering department supporting project management and technical development teams. The ideal candidate will a Professional Engineer (PE) certification and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Project Mechanical Engineer (Senior)

    **Location:** Luling, LA

     

    Pay Range: $60.00-$76.00 Hourly

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support diverse manufacturing projects by designing and analyzing complex mechanical systems.

    + Develop preliminary project descriptions, schedules, and cost estimates to ensure project feasibility and efficiency.

    + Perform stress analysis, create construction specifications, and procure equipment and materials aligned with project needs.

    + Review vendor and discipline drawings, ensuring conformance to industry standards, codes, and safety practices.

    + Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, including onsite support during construction and startup phases.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

    + Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.

    + Proficiency with design standards, codes, and engineering analysis techniques.

    + Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to safety and quality.
