Overview

**Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply** , North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking a **Yard Associate** at our West Chicago, IL branch.

This position performs an array of functions including:

+ Safely drive a sitdown forklift to load/unload trucks

+ Manually lift and place material onto palettes and forks

+ Ensure customer's orders are pulled and loaded accurately

+ Maintain the yard stock in a clean and organized manner

+ Provide excellent customer service

+ Work efficiently with the team to ensure branch success

Responsibilities

+ Work outside in all weather conditions

+ Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments

+ Receive and stock inbound material

+ Using a computer, complete receiving and work orders accurately

+ Pull, prepare, and package materials for shipment

+ Rotate yard stock and materials

+ Maintains clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

+ 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position drivng forklift

+ Ability to consistently lift and move heavy materials (manually lift up to 60lbs)

+ Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired

+ Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions is required

+ Must be able to work overtime as needed

+ Experience with building materials a plus
