    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    The Lead, LP Operations will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing execution of cross\-functional LP initiatives, operations and compliance for Ross and Dd's Stores\. The position will provide guidance during project initiation, planning and during implementation to the field\. The role is responsible for driving results and improvements through effective project leadership support, communications, planning, analysis, compliance and cross\-functional relationships with key business partners\.

     

    The base salary range for this role is $77,900 \- $117,050\. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location\. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees\. Other rewards vary by position and location\.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Develops project timelines, budgets and monitors key deliverables for all projects as assigned\. Ensures that all projects are executed according the project process for timelines, funding, approvals, and communication\.

    • Supports projects associated with, but not limited to, Loss Prevention, the Buying Offices, Shortage/Inventory Control, and Store Operations\. Builds timelines and presentations to present to different levels of leadership\. Attends meetings, conducts status updates with key partners and follows up on action items\. Acts as an advocate for field needs and serves as escalation contact when required\.

    • Creates procedures, communications, guides and forms to ensure strong Loss Prevention execution in Stores and to support Field LP Leaders\.

    • Manages the daily operations of current programs, initiatives, and processes \(including, but not limited to, awareness programs, merchandise protection, SPS training programs, the Private Security \(PSO\) program, External Theft Apprehension program, etc\.\) through effective communication with Stores, Field Leadership and other business partners\. Consistently identifies process improvement opportunities, ensures compliance of the programs and implements changes as needed\.

    • Leads project/program finances including establishing project costs, creating capital expenditure requests, reconciling invoices and credits, etc\. Tracks and manages all project costs to remain within the budget\. Updates expenditure logs and initiates payment for project invoices\.

    • Responsibilities may include: Supporting the merchandise protection program by reviewing merchandise protection devices and strategies across the industry to identify devices, solutions and best practices to reduce shrink and improve execution\.

    • Responsibilities may include: Supporting internal and external theft case compliance which includes training, reporting, ensuring field teams are compliant with policy, procedures and ethical standards when conducting theft cases, and ensuring Ross Stores Inc\. is current on local/state/industry compliance processes \(civil recovery, restitution, follows up with disputes, attorney matters and restitution payments made to the company, etc\.\)

    • Performs other duties related to the Loss Prevention Operations Team, as directed by the Sr\. Manager, LP Operations

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree\. Concentration in Criminal Justice, Finance or Business preferred\.

    • 4\-5 years of experience in a relevant field

    • Retail management experience that includes project management and business process ownership in Loss Prevention, multi\-unit or a hybrid of field

    • Detail oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness\.

    • Communicates effectively in both verbal and written forms to multiple levels of the organization

    • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and rapidly changing priorities within a fast\-paced environment\.

    • Self\-motivated individual with excellent analytical skills and conceptual ability\.

    • Consistently meets or exceeds deadline requirements\.

    • Able to navigate and build strong business partnerships\.

    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint\.

    • Maintains confidentiality concerning all projects\.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

    Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer\.

     

    Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in\-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc\.

     

    Consistent timeliness and regular attendance\.

     

    Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically\.

     

    This role requires regular in\-office presence, including to engage in in\-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback\. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in\-office and remote work\.\#LI\-Hybrid
