Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Technician for our Medical Supply & Instrumentation partner in Sunnyvale, CA.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $32 and $33. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Overview:
- The Manufacturing Engineering Technician provides technical and sustaining engineering support to the ICSP manufacturing group in Sunnyvale. This role involves using technical knowledge of operations and equipment to improve quality, reliability, equipment uptime, production capacity, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the consumables manufacturing factory in Sunnyvale by servicing equipment and fixtures to maintain factory uptime.
- Monitor and support key manufacturing processes, respond to out-of-control/out-of-spec conditions, and conduct investigations and troubleshooting of manufacturing failures.
- Provide summary results of findings and recommendations to senior engineers and document all findings and recommendations to educate team members.
- Coordinate with vendor technicians during equipment upgrades and testing.
- Assist Senior Engineers in identifying, developing, and qualifying new equipment, tooling, materials, processes, and technologies for manufacturing.
- Maintain calibration database and coordinate with calibration teams to ensure compliance within the QMS system for all equipment and fixtures used in production in a timely manner.
- Perform equipment and process gap analyses to identify equipment/tooling requirements.
- Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure equipment uptime and availability.
- Identify safety improvements and collaborate with Environmental, Health, and Safety specialists to implement solutions and resolve potential hazards.
Position Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering or applied science or an associate degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable interacting with production equipment and operating test equipment in a lab environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective at delivering technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills (PDCA).
- Proficiency in personal computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Adherence to all GMP Safety Standards and QMS system.
**Pay Details:** $32.00 to $33.00 per hour
