    Design Drafter – $30/hr | Temp-to-Hire | South Fort Worth

     

    We’re hiring an experienced **Design/Drafter** to support a leading manufacturing company located in **South Fort Worth (off I-35 & Risinger Rd).** This is a **full-time, temp-to-hire** opportunity offering **$30/hr** with long-term growth potential.

    What You’ll Do

    + Create **2D/3D CAD production drawings** and detailed shop drawings from new sales orders

    + Update and maintain **BOMs and engineering documentation** in MRP systems

    + Modify and improve existing product designs based on customer and market needs

    + Support manufacturing teams by resolving drawing/BOM questions

    + Partner with sales, marketing & customer service on custom requests + new product derivatives

    + Recommend and implement improvements to **quality, cost, and process efficiency**

    What We’re Looking For

    + **1+ year drafting experience** in manufacturing or metal fabrication

    + Proficient with **AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks** , or similar 3D parametric software

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to **work efficiently with urgency**

    + Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally in a **fast-paced, project-based environment**

    + **HS Diploma or GED required** | PDM software familiarity a plus (Vault, SolidWorks PDM)

    Schedule

    + Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT as needed)

    + ~10% travel may be required

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
