Join our dynamic Neurology practice in Tampa, FL as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) and play a vital role in supporting patients across all stages of life—from pediatrics to geriatrics. Full-Time | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $17.00-$28.00/hourly
This candidate needs to have at least 6 months to a year of working with neurology patients.
What You’ll Do
+ Greet, room, and prepare patients for visits and minor procedures
+ Accurately take and document vitals, medical history, and health information in the EMR
+ Assist providers with exams, immunizations, and routine office procedures
+ Perform phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection
+ Triage patient calls with professionalism and empathy
+ Support medication administration, prescription refills, and patient education
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and infection control standards
+ Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
+ Certified or Registered MA (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
+ Prior experience in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Internal Medicine strongly preferred
+ Proficient in patient intake, vitals, injections, and EMR documentation
+ Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
+ Team player with a commitment to patient-centered care
