As a CAD Technician in our Mentor, Ohio office, you'll work with a passionate team on impactful environmental, energy, water, survey, and civil infrastructure projects.     What You'll Do:

    + Create and revise complex CAD drawings, exhibits, and plans with minimal oversight

    + Interpret sketches, specifications, and field notes to develop accurate technical drawings

    + Perform design calculations and prepare equipment and material specifications

    + Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure design intent is met

    + Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and supporting documentation

    + Assist in quality control reviews and ensure compliance with industry and company standards

    + Support the development of CAD standards and mentor junior CAD staff as needed

    + Stay current with CAD software updates and best practices

    What You Bring:

    + Associate's degree preferred

    + 3+ years experience with creating existing conditions surveys to include topographic and control drawings based on field collected data with publicly available information

    + Proficient with any of the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station (Open Roads)

    + Relevant design experience in survey drafting, right of way, and utilities

    + Creating plan and profile documents that conform with specifications

    + Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

    Salary Range:

    The compensation range starts at $28.00 per hour and is based on the position and experience.
