We currently have an opportunity for a **Director of Benefits Procurement.**
Summary
The Director of Benefits Procurement is responsible for managing the coordination, creation, and delivery of comprehensive Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role will optimize the technology HUB utilizes to facilitate the end-to-end RFP to Employer Presentations, interacting with the HUB consulting team, HUB Subject Matter Experts, and external partner vendors to deliver a cohesive final product.
Job Duties
+ Coordinate the end-to-end RFP process including data gathering requirements, data accuracy review, submission, results review, and proposal presentation. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure RFP is aligned with organizational goals.
+ Work with internal HUB teams to gather the information required to quote.
+ Master and optimize the technology HUB utilizes to create consistent and efficient processes.
+ Interact with carriers, vendors, and general agents as necessary.
+ Collaborate with HUB’s Analytics & Underwriting team to evaluate self-funded feasibility and model consistently throughout the region, assisting the underwriting process as necessary.
+ Collaborate with HUB’s Pharmacy practice to evaluate both integrated and carved-out PBM options.
+ Evaluate Captive Stop Loss options to evaluate alongside traditional Stop Loss.
+ Create comprehensive presentations client teams can present to clients.
+ Assist the sales team with Medical and Prescription Drug quoting, as necessary.
+ Other project work to support the business.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 5+ years of experience working coordinating group health plan RFPs
+ Familiarity with group health plans and the key attributes related to each line of coverage (Medical, Prescription Drug, Stop Loss, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, etc.)
+ Experience with RFP management software preferred
+ Strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) skills
+ Superior numeric skills with a high level of interest in working with data
+ Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
+ Exceptional organization skills and strong attention to detail
+ Solution oriented
+ Phenomenal work ethic and attitude
+ Ability to pivot quickly between multiple tasks and projects
+ Ability to work collaboratively with internal HUB teams
+ Operates in a fast-paced environment
+ Welcoming of change
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
