    Job Title: Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to quality and safety.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including lathes and mills.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.

    + Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.

    + Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.

    + Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize processes.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation.

    + Knowledge of braiding, drill press, and grinder operations.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and troubleshooting.

    + Experience in changeover and grinding processes.

    + Skills in programming and machining.

    + Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems.

    + Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to shear.

    + Experience in maintaining equipment.

    The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
