Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Production Assembly Technicians to join our team and work on cutting-edge fuel cells for the railroad industry and drones for the aviation industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct batching and mixing operations, including the use of scales.
+ Perform machine operations with the aid of hand tools.
+ Operate mechanical equipment efficiently.
+ Execute assembly operations to meet production standards.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Record data accurately as specified.
+ Maintain the work area following 5S principles.
+ Meet quality, part, and production specifications consistently.
+ Receive training on and routinely perform up to three Standard Processes.
+ Foster a positive and respectful team environment, communicating and taking direction constructively.
+ Communicate issues or concerns effectively to ensure successful operations.
+ Exercise independent judgment within primary job functions.
+ Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical in this position.
+ Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in small part assembly.
+ Proficiency in using small hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, screw drills, hand drills, snips, and dryers.
+ At least 6 months of experience in machine operation or willingness to learn.
+ Ability to navigate spreadsheets, watch training videos, and work in test stations.
+ Ability to see color for accurate wiring and good dexterity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Computer literacy is required to handle spreadsheets and watch training videos.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 5 am to 3:30 pm with voluntary overtime available after training. The work environment includes handling mechanical equipment and maintaining a clean and organized workspace according to 5S standards. Employees are expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
