Job Title: CNC Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Set up CNC press brake machines for production runs.

+ Perform tooling changeovers as needed.

+ Make minor program edits and set machine parameters.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

+ Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience operating CNC press brake machines.

+ 4-5 years of press brake experience.

+ Strong understanding of machine setup and tooling changeover.

+ Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.

+ Basic programming/editing experience on CNC controls.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Additional CNC related experience.

+ Mechanically inclined.

Work Environment

Work in an OEM, ISO 9001 certified facility that is very clean and climate-controlled. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
