    We are seeking an Operations Resources Planning Engineer / Fab Layout Planner to support profitable growth through capital-effective demand fulfillment and to enhance business operations by managing capacity and improving processes. This role focuses on FAB layout planning by effectively optimizing space utilization. The mission is to achieve seamless corporate business operations through the rationalization and integration of production processes.

     

    Who Should Apply to this Role?

     

    This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 to 5 years of 12" Fab experience to play an integral part in one of the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the world. This is a historic project, and this person will have a large impact on its planning. This person should be passionate about design, construction, operations, optimization, and planning. This person MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a 12" Fab (will not consider analog), but candidates with more than 5 years of experience will be considered overqualified. Candidates must be flexible with workload demands, and will be offered opportunity for advancement and growth.

    Responsibilities

    + Host meetings with all disciplines and stakeholders to establish common ground and find project solutions.

    + Develop and implement FAB space layout plans to maximize operational efficiency and accommodate production needs.

    + Use AutoCAD to check interferences and ensure all systems relate effectively to the rest of the facility.

    + Plan and manage capacity to ensure optimal production efficiency and resource utilization.

    + Drive productivity improvements by analyzing workflows and identifying areas for optimization.

    + Evaluate and control capital investments to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic goals.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure layout designs align with operational and process requirements.

    + Coordinate with international Design Teams as needed for FAB layouts and design plans.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline

    + 2+ years of experience with 12" Semiconductor Fabs

    + Strong understanding of Semiconductor Fab Layout and Cleanroom Facility Setup

    + Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate all stakeholders

    + Experience with AutoCAD and the ability to learn new skills as needed

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Previous job titles like Equipment Engineer, Facility Engineer, Hookup Engineer, Fab Layout.

    + 2–7 years of experience in semiconductor industrial engineering, construction, or manufacturing.

    + Experience in evaluating capital investments and optimizing FAB layouts.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working 50% on AutoCAD layout and 50% in meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams. Collaboration with international teams may require late evening meetings, but an alternative schedule will be allowed to accommodate these requirements. This is a heavy workload, with one other person supporting project demands at this time. Candidates should be prepared for unique and exciting challenges onsite.     This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
