Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience, a high level of technical aptitude, and a detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and are adept at fixing just about anything, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot, repair, analyze, and disassemble/reassemble mechanical equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.

+ Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.

+ Work proactively and in detail to address mechanical and electrical issues.

+ Adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical expertise with a strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics.

+ Experience with blueprint reading, pumps, motors, and automation.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting belts, conveyors, and PM.

+ Background in robotics and automation, particularly in the foods industry.

+ Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, welding, and 3-phase conduit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with mechanical systems.

+ Background in automation and foods is highly advantageous.

+ Familiarity with pumps, motors, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

+ PLC knowledge is a plus, though not required.

Work Environment

The role requires working the night shift from Sunday to Thursday. You will be part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment focused on maintaining and repairing industrial machinery. Dress code is casual, suitable for hands-on mechanical work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erie, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
