Job Title: Food Service Worker

As a **Food Service Worker** , you will play a key role in supporting daily food operations in a hospital cafeteria. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and beverages.

+ Set up and restock food stations and serving areas.

+ Ensure food is handled and stored according to safety and sanitation guidelines.

+ Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment.

+ Operate basic kitchen equipment such as warmers, slicers, and food carts.

+ Follow dietary restrictions and portion control guidelines.

+ Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and guests.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in food service or cafeteria settings.

+ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

+ Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cafeteria setting inside a hospital, with a shift from 3:30 PM to midnight. The position offers flexibility and requires weekend availability. You will have two consecutive days off.

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
