Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Tool Crib Attendants for a large defense company located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa, CA. The positions are available for two shifts: the first shift from 5am-5pm and the second shift from 11am-11:30pm. These roles involve 12-hour shifts to ensure full coverage while the site is operational. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
+ Use digital tools to track tools, preferably Asset Panda or Oracle/NetSuite.
+ Work from manufacturing schedules, verbal instructions, operation sheets, and written requests to manage crib stock accurately.
+ Inspect tools for damage, cleanliness, and proper operation before issuing or after receiving them.
+ Coordinate tool repairs or replacements as needed.
+ Monitor tool usage to prevent loss or unauthorized removal.
+ Prepare complete tool kits for various manufacturing and assembly operations.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly storage area.
+ Check all incoming materials against paperwork and store them properly.
+ Prepare and complete all related paperwork and reports.
+ Conduct regular inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
+ Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role.
+ Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tools.
+ Familiarity with inventory management including Lot, Serial, and Batch tracking at high mix, high production volumes.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tools.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
+ Familiarity with calibration, shipping, and receiving processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
