             Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of surveillance trailers. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our surveillance systems by performing both mechanical and electrical repairs. Responsibilities + Perform maintenance and repair on surveillance trailers, including mechanical and electrical components. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in generator systems integral to surveillance trailers. + Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, control panels, and security components specific to surveillance trailers. + Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and implement effective solutions for surveillance trailer systems. + Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections performed on surveillance trailers. + Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. + Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to provide updates and recommendations regarding surveillance trailer repairs. + Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and advancements in repair technologies. + Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent; certification in electrical systems, generator repair, or related field. + Proven experience in maintaining and repairing surveillance trailers or similar systems. + Strong understanding of generator functionality, electrical principles, and mechanical systems. + Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software specific to surveillance trailer systems. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Physical capability to perform hands-on repairs and lift heavy equipment, when necessary, up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with a variety of surveillance trailer brands and models. + Certifications related to electrical systems, generator repair, or surveillance technologies. + Knowledge of advanced security systems and renewable energy technologies used in surveillance trailers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
