Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

A popular **food and beverage** company in **Fresno** is looking for **maintenance technician** to join the team.

The company is looking for technicians to start right away so Aerotek will provide a **rapid interview** process so you start work as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment.

+ Identify mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems efficiently.

+ Conduct light electrical troubleshooting, including changing motors and wiring.

+ Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel.

+ Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills, and operate a forklift.

+ Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps.

+ Comply with OSHA Health and Safety rules.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned, such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a production environment.

+ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with packaging equipment, bottling, and blow molding.

+ Proficiency in MIG welding.

+ Open to working all shifts during peak season (September - December).

Work Environment

The team operates within four departments: juice extraction, processing, filling, and plastics, with a focus on bottle filling and molding machines. Our machines handle six different product lines. During the harvest season, the work schedule is typically 6 days a week with 12-hour shifts from 6 am to 6 pm. There are three shifts available: 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), and 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am). Overtime is available, with a minimum of one day off per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fresno, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
