    Job Title: SRT Repair Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled SRT Repair Specialist with deep expertise in BGA operations, SRT profiling, and various repair techniques such as pads/barrel repair and wire replacement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in utilizing heat guns, performing gold finger and minor epoxy repairs, and must be familiar with IPC-610, IPC-7711, and IPC-7721 standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to a predetermined volume.

    + Perform load functions on hardware and solder resistors, transistors, and transmitters onto circuit boards.

    + Functionally test completed systems according to established work processes.

    + Pull necessary materials from flow racks and manage back flush operations on computer operating systems.

    + Conduct pass/fail tests on products to ensure quality and functionality.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SMT machine operations and blueprint reading.

    + Experience with soldering, circuit board, surface mount, and electro-mechanical repairs.

    + Strong knowledge of PCB repair, assembly, and testing circuits.

    + Familiarity with BGA, SRT, and IPC 610 standards.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable standing for long periods.

    + Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately.

    + Experience handling small parts and working flexible hours, including weekends.

    + Senior-level experience with 3-5 years in a similar role.

    Work Environment

     

    Work behind closed doors on top-secret projects for clients. This position requires signing an NDA. The role offers a swing shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:35 PM for an 8-hour shift, or 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM for a 10-hour shift, with frequent weekend work required. This is a senior-level position that demands dedication and commitment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
