Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator
Job Description
As a Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form sheet metal materials according to exact specifications and blueprints. You will ensure precise production results by determining the appropriate tooling, dies, and gauges required for each job. You will also monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy, dimensions, and tolerances.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and set up press brake machinery to meet precise specifications.
+ Determine and select appropriate tooling, dies, and gauges for each job.
+ Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy.
+ Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings.
+ Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with specifications.
+ Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and escalate complex issues.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
+ Accurately record production data, contributing to process improvements.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with press brake operations and machine setup.
+ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Familiarity with Amada Press Brake and CNC operations.
+ Proficiency with calipers and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
+ Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Work Environment
Our facility is well-lit and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable environment. The position is for the 1st shift, with ideal hours from 7am-5pm, Monday to Thursday, and flexible start times. The shop is smaller, with about 15 people on the floor, fostering a close-knit, team-oriented atmosphere as part of a larger organization.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fridley, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
