    NOW HIRING ASSEMBLERS (1st Shift)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team, focusing on assembling CAT radiators and sub-assemblies. This role involves using small hand tools and hydraulic machines to seal parts together, ensuring high-quality products for our clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble CAT radiators and sub-assemblies using small hand tools and hydraulic machines.

    + Utilize basic hand tools such as air rivet guns and battery-powered drills.

    + Pull parts according to Work Instructions and stock material.

    + Stock workstations with all necessary hardware.

    + Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, lift, and reach to prepare finished goods for shipment.

    + Inspect completed assemblies and place them on customer-designated shipping racks.

    + Operate an overhead crane.

    + Complete daily inspections of workstation fixtures.

    + Lift 50+ lbs. of force occasionally and 10-15 lbs. of force frequently.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand tools.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior forklift certification or equivalent experience (preferred).

    + Experience with overhead cranes (preferred).

    + Proficiency in a variety of software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred).

    Work Environment

     

    The role operates on the first shift, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The work environment emphasizes high-quality and safety standards, with a focus on using hand tools and mechanical equipment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
